M2 Inspo

I have never really looked for hashtag#inspiration or hashtag#motivation from those in my field or technology that much. As I write, I am trying to remember if I ever did. Those who approach an art in a way that is unique or with a dedication that reflects at least one aspect that shines, are the ones for me. This commonality between us “M’s” is what made MSquared Fusion . hashtag#Engineering and hashtag#Code are very strict by foundational principles so it is to us for creatively do something with those areas.

Very often we step away from our desks and reflect on what drives us to be different. We started posting our “inspos” with Lloyd Kaufman the other day, as his approach was irreverent, fun, and ended up influential. This morning, as I get ready for some Golang , I look at Discharge, the hardcore punk band. Their relenteless speed, shortness of their songs, and noisy minimalism reminds me to keep the code small, simple, and to deliver quick.

We used to jokingly say, but now realize that we were really serious, that a meeting should be run by Discharge. Because who needs an hour long meeting that always runs over time, for something that can be said in roughly 15 minutes…the total length of about 7 songs of Discharge.
